Terms of Service

1. Services

North Shore Shine provides residential pressure washing; driveway, walkway, siding and surface cleaning; gutter and window cleaning; and exterior vehicle detailing. Services are provided on an as-is, best-effort basis depending on surface condition, weather and access.

2. Estimates & Pricing

• Prices are estimates unless confirmed in writing.
• Final pricing may vary with size, condition, buildup or additional requests.
• On-site additions must be approved before work begins.
• Taxes may apply where required.

3. Booking & Scheduling

Appointments are confirmed once a date and time are agreed upon. We may reschedule for weather, equipment or safety concerns. Customers must provide accurate contact and service details.

4. Cancellations & Rescheduling

We request at least 24 hours’ notice. Late cancellations or no-shows may incur a fee. Weather-related reschedules will not incur fees.

5. Customer Responsibilities

Provide safe access, clear pets, vehicles and personal items from work zones, disclose pre-existing damage or weak surfaces, and provide water or electricity if required unless otherwise arranged.

6. Pre-Existing Damage

We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, wear, rust, oxidation, cracked siding, loose trim, failing seals, weakened surfaces, poor installation, previous repairs, age-related deterioration, hidden electrical faults or aftermarket vehicle modifications.

7. Liability

Industry-standard methods and equipment are used. We are not liable for undisclosed conditions or structural weaknesses. Liability, if any, is limited to the service cost; indirect, incidental or consequential damages are excluded.

8. Satisfaction

Notify us within 24 hours of completion. We will reasonably address concerns related to our work. Refunds are not guaranteed and are assessed case by case.

9. Payments

Payment is due upon completion unless otherwise agreed. Methods may include cash, e-transfer or approved card processing. Unpaid balances may result in refusal of future service and legal action.

10. Photos & Marketing

We may take before-and-after photos for quality control or marketing. Identifying details will not be shared without consent. Opt out before service begins.

11. Safety

We may refuse or stop service where animals, surfaces, weather or other conditions are unsafe.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada.

13. Acceptance

By booking or allowing service to proceed, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms.
