North Shore Shine – Terms of Service

By booking or using services provided by North Shore Shine, you agree to the following Terms of Service.

1. Services

North Shore Shine provides exterior cleaning services including, but not limited to:

  • Residential pressure washing

  • Driveway, walkway, siding, and surface cleaning

  • Gutter cleaning

  • Window cleaning

  • Exterior vehicle detailing

All services are provided on an as-is, best-effort basis depending on surface condition, weather, and access.

2. Estimates & Pricing

  • All prices are estimates unless confirmed in writing.

  • Final pricing may vary based on actual size, condition, level of buildup, or additional requests.

  • Additional services requested on-site must be approved before work begins.

  • Taxes may apply where required.

3. Booking & Scheduling

  • Appointments are confirmed once a date and time are agreed upon.

  • We reserve the right to reschedule due to weather, equipment issues, or safety concerns.

  • Customers must provide accurate contact information and service details.

4. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • We request at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling.

  • Late cancellations or no-shows may be subject to a cancellation fee.

  • Weather-related reschedules will not incur fees.

5. Customer Responsibilities

Customers agree to:

  • Provide safe and reasonable access to the service area or vehicle.

  • Ensure pets, vehicles, and personal items are cleared from work zones.

  • Disclose any pre-existing damage, weak surfaces, or known issues before service.

  • Provide access to water and/or electricity if required (unless otherwise arranged).

6. Pre-Existing Damage

North Shore Shine is not responsible for:

  • Pre-existing damage, wear, rust, oxidation, cracked siding, loose trim, failing seals, or weakened surfaces.

  • Damage caused by previous repairs, poor installation, or age-related deterioration.

  • Interior vehicle damage caused by hidden electrical faults or aftermarket modifications.

7. Liability

  • Services are performed using industry-standard methods and equipment.

  • We are not liable for damage caused by undisclosed conditions or structural weaknesses.

  • Our liability, if any, is limited to the cost of the service provided.

  • We are not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

8. Satisfaction

  • If you have a concern, notify us within 24 hours of service completion.

  • We will make reasonable efforts to address issues related to the quality of our work.

  • Refunds are not guaranteed and are assessed on a case-by-case basis.

9. Payments

  • Payment is due upon completion unless otherwise agreed.

  • Accepted payment methods may include cash, e-transfer, credit/debit cards via stripe or other approved options.

  • Unpaid balances may result in refusal of future service and legal action.

10. Photos & Marketing

  • We may take before-and-after photos for quality control or marketing.

  • No identifying personal information will be shared without consent.

  • Customers may opt out by notifying us before service begins.

11. Safety

  • We reserve the right to refuse or stop service if conditions are unsafe.

  • This includes aggressive animals, hazardous surfaces, or unsafe weather.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada.

13. Acceptance

By booking or allowing services to proceed, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Service.
